In Tuscany, in the province of Siena, in the municipality of Chiusi, mid-way between Florence and Rome. We are near hill-top towns such as Cortona, Montepulciano, Pienza, San Casciano dei Bagni as well as Lake Trasimeno.

Poggi al Lago are perfectly located for short excursions in the provinces of Arezzo, Perugia and Siena.

Day trips to Florence and Rome can be done very comfortably by taking the train from Chiusi Station and in about an hour and a half you are in the historical centre of either of the two cities.

• Turn left following the direction for Chiusi.
• After 2,8 km from the A1 exit turn right following the indication for Lago di Chiusi and Tombe Etrusche.
• 4,4 km later, immediately after going over the railway tunnel bridge, turn sharp right (at 350 degrees) taking the dirt road Strada vicinale della Ferrovia.
• After 400 m you will see Poggio Casale on the left on a hill.

• A1 highway, take the "CHIUSI - CHIANCIANO TERME" exit. Go toward CHIUSI.
• After 2.8 Km (1.7 Miles) turn to the left toward SIENA.
• After 0.6 Km (0.4 Miles), turn right toward MONTEVENERE (a narrow and climbing road). Go straight on at the junction.
• After 1.9 Km (1.2 Miles) the asphalt paving ends. After 0.5 Km (0.3 Miles) turn right toward "STRADA VICINALE DI PILELLA".
• Follow the trail for 500 m (0.3 Miles).
